Elizabeth Ann Tufts, a beloved mother, dedicated physical therapist, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2025, at the age of 58. Born on February 11, 1967, in Reading, Pennsylvania, Elizabeth lived a life full of warmth, kindness, and compassion, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Elizabeth devoted her career to helping others as a physical therapist. Her commitment to her patients was evident in the way she cared for them—always with professionalism, gentleness, and unwavering support. Her nurturing spirit made a significant difference in the lives of many, and her impact will be remembered by all who crossed her path.

Elizabeth is survived by her loving mother, Carolyn Cantara, her cherished sons, Brandon and Chase Leonard who will forever carry her love and memory in their hearts. She is also survived by her sisters, Sheri (husband Carl Martin), Kristina Glass, and Lauren Martin, as well as her nieces. Elizabeth’s vibrant personality, infectious laughter, and caring presence will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

In addition to her family, Elizabeth leaves behind many fond memories of her love for life. She had a deep passion for helping others, particularly those in need, and was known for her kindness and generosity, often giving to the homeless. Elizabeth also had a love for gardening, a history as a gymnast, and a passion for playing baseball and softball during her youth. She was an excellent cook, and her sense of humor and intelligence made her a joy to be around.

Elizabeth’s strong faith as a devoted Catholic was a cornerstone of her life, and she was a fighter—never giving up on herself or others. Her family will carry on her legacy, inspired by her strength and commitment to helping those around her. Elizabeth’s dreams included the joy of someday becoming a grandmother and traveling to Maui, a place she had always hoped to visit.

Elizabeth enjoyed spending time with her family, playing golf, and vacationing at their lake house in Maine. She also found great joy in raising puppies and looked forward to the future with optimism and love.

As we grieve her passing, let us also celebrate the remarkable life she lived—one filled with love, compassion, and a legacy that will continue to inspire us all.
